TESTIMONIALS
“Having the nourishing care of Graciela in the kitchen hearth space was one of the highlights for our 2023 Firecraft Retreat!
I was so impressed not only by her intentionality of each meal, but her organizational skills and energetic grounding throughout the entire experience. They are a great communicator and know how to ask for support and feedback, checking in to ensure the offerings were feeling good for everyone. The meals were wholesome and colorful, with sprinkles of ancestral blessings. Graciela's food and care fueled us into higher frequencies for the important spiritual and ecological work that our group was holding for our week-long gathering.
Truly one of the best and community-oriented catering experiences I've ever been a part of! May our concepts of "work" and offering services to the community continue to gravitate towards the type of energetic exchange and reciprocity that it organically felt like with Graciela being brought on to join the retreat team. “Graciela’s quiet, calm and beautiful presence in the kitchen, was mirrored in their culinary creativity, and manifested wonderfully in the food they prepared.
It's apparent that they cook from a deep place of wisdom and joy that adds such an important and flavorful layer to any meal.”

Thank you, Graciela, for your deep nourishment! My body LOVED your food: simple, grounding, and undeniably full of care and love. Thank you too for reminding us that eating is a radical act, and that care work is activism embodied. What a blessing.

“From the deliciously spiced oatmeal in the morning, to steaming hot pumpkin curry at night, I felt nourished and cared for during a weekend of intense learning, exertion, and growth.”

ANCESTRAL NOURISHMENT FOR COMMUNITY CARE
ANCESTRAL NOURISHMENT FOR COMMUNITY CARE
My Story…
My name is Graciela Guadalupe, I am a queer brown daughter, sister, and auntie of Jewish & Mestiza Ancestry. I identify as a Care working Artist and Nepantlera ….
It is from the devotion to my own healing and becoming that this work emerges from me. I went through many seasons of my life between the age of 8 - 23yrs old having a very difficult relationship to food and my body. It deeply impacted my well being… physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
Over the past 12+ years I have been re-membering my sacred relationship to life, my body and the food ways that nourish me deeply. This journey of cultivating intimacy with my nourishment has not only shown me how profoundly it impacts/informs my wellness and sense of Self, it has also revealed to me how deeply disconnected many of us have become from our bodies, our land, our water and our ancestral cultures of care.
It is with immense passion, inspiration, joy and honor that I am here in this iteration of the journey to share what I have learned, practiced, and cultivated for my self, with you…
Giving thanks to my generous and brilliant teachers: Estela Roman, Doña Enriqueta Contreras, Doña Soccoro, Raeanne Madison of Post Partum Healing Lodge, Teyler Wallace of The Foodie Doula, Ivy Lee of Luminae Wellness and my beloved community for informing so many aspects of my Nourishing Care work… and Giving thanks everyday to my spirit guides and ancestors who walk this path with me .
